Program Information

Nexus 2025 is a 12-week hybrid cohort program designed to accelerate the growth of Detroit-based tech founders and emerging angel investors. This year’s program blends advisory support, hands-on learning, and milestone-driven progress to fuel inclusive innovation and build real pathways to product-market fit and capital readiness.

 

  • Program Duration: Wednesday, July 2nd – Wednesday, September 17th
  • Engage in weekly 2-hour virtual sessions, plus optional in-person gatherings and a closing session to celebrate your progress.

Founders

Founders: Build, Test, and Accelerate: Your Path to Real Product-Market Fit

Nexus provides founders with a customized Cohort program designed to provide advisory support to tech or tech-enabled Founders as they make measurable progress against milestones and product-market fit.

  • Advisory support as you execute and refine your high-impact milestone(s)

  • Master Your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and Access Strategy
  • Product-Market Fit: Test, Validate, and Pivot with Confidence
  • Build Strong Business Foundations: Infrastructure, Talent, and Resilience
  • Funding, Networks, and Strategic Resources
  • Eligible founders will be able to apply for a $10,000 non-dilutive grant

    Angel Investors

    Angel Investors: Build Investment Acumen Through Practice, Insight, and Action

    Nexus provides hands-on experience for emerging angel investors to strengthen the skills necessary for evaluating early-stage companies and coaching founders as part of the angel investment process.

    • Practice skills necessary to conduct due diligence

    • Apply your angel investing fundamentals to support real start-ups 

    • Serve as Co-Advisor to Founders

    • Evaluate Milestones & Understand Product-Market Fit
